Suicidal Thoughts

Suicidal thoughts are more common than you may think.

These can come and go in fleeting thoughts, or remain for some time. Thoughts of suicide can turn to plans for suicide. If you have an active plan, and the means to do so, please reach out today.

Often it is not the desire to die that motivates suicide, but the desire to end the suffering.

CBT can help

Suicidal thoughts can come as a result of trauma, depression, lack of emotional regulation, poor self-worth and the feeling of mental exhaustion. Cognitive behavioural therapy is an effective way to begin to manage these feelings and thoughts.
